GOOD MORNING LOVELIES

Its the Midsummer Madness Extravaganza on the village green tonight, bands, booze and a picnic, which is fine and usually a lot of fun but.......butt we had our five days of summer last week so one would presume that midsummer by its very name should also have been last week and its been raining, bummer, so everything is soggy and muddy and not very inviting which only goes to show that if you're going to throw a Midsummer Madness Extravaganza on the village green then you really should do it midsummer at the height of a tropical heatwave, just saying....

May your Saturday be an amazing dance through the grass with mud and a feather stuck to your ass..................have a good one old beans

Just ignore the silly stupid extra on top codes, bugger embarrass

Re: mad hatters village

Post by DebraC on Sun Jul 31, 2016 2:59 pm

Good afternoon!  :hat wave:I kid/dog sat last night! SiL has a huge tv but I turned it off once Sammy went to bed! PJ, the dog, napped next to me on the sofa! DD allows him access to most of the house, no leash, and he was good! I keep my Molly either in the kitchen or tv room while I'm there but still on her leash. I'm rethinking that strategy now but I'm afraid I'll regret giving her more freedom.
Today is a sad day at BtB.  :waterwork:It's been home for so long.

Good morning!  :hat wave:I checked on BTB first, it's so sad that it came to this!  :tissues:But I still have a tab on my laptop that shows the forum screen of last night and I'll leave it until it's gone.
It looks like a soggy day is in the forecast! It rained last night, temps went down, and now it's just overcast. I have no plans for today except for reading, which I'm trying to do but keep getting distracted! Huh, I only read 8 books in July! I usually read twice that!

Chrissie, that was our weather last weekend!

Good morning!  howl  I'm up everyday at 6am because of habit and the dog, but it's not really necessary. I don't like having nothing to do, at least I used to work 3 days per week but that's down to 2 days do to Patti! We think she's trying to get the office budget down, so the mgr gets a end of year bonus and she (Patti) looks good, but she's screwing us coworkers in the process! And the girl who was hired to pull charts/call patients reminding them about appts, she's been upgraded to our receptionist position and she's sharing all the extra hours with Patti! A coworker applied for unemployment due to the cut in hours and is getting a check every week even tho she is still working! So I just applied too! I should have done this months ago, but they kept saying a new doctor was starting and there would then be more hours! So I'll let you know if I get accepted!

miss patti should be spreading around the extra office hours instead  of hiring someone knew.

everyone could take a turn at the phones and filing, for extra hours
how unfair

scream tap foot

miss cali is feeling much better and all ready for her next adventure, throgs neck, goethels, verrazano, belt here i come,  splat hair fire

the humidity down here is 100% all the time, it's so thick some days you can cut it with a knife,

Ugh, I'm so sick of the humidity already!
That's great that Cali's feeling better! Road trip!
I regularly answer the phones and file every workday! We're supposed to file everything before we leave but, wouldn't you know, when Patti works she doesn't file but leaves it for the next person!

Happy Hump Day!  howl It turned cool overnight! Hubby had to get a blanket! Me, well, I'm always hot so the sheet was fine for me!
The training went well last night because we had our trusty spray bottle and there were less dogs! Molly behaved after I sprayed her a few times! No vicious barking!
Today's DD#1's birthday! Usually, we take her out for dinner but she invited us over for cake and coffee instead. Sammy wanted her to have a birthday party!
