My DDs kept a box filled with some of Roxy's toys, her collar and bed. The meds we tossed. You might want to keep a memory box of her blankets, combs and scratching post.  hugs 2

we are, the vet makes a paw print in clay before.............
it's in the shape of a heart with her name and dod and paw prints,

and her collar, and pictures of her,

sinatra slept with me all night, poor thing he misses his mom,

on a lighter note the eye dr. said my nearsighted ness has improved.

my eyes are EXACT opposites,

one eye can read 20/20 but can't see a damn thing distant,

the other eye can't read less than a 14 or 16 font but it can see 20/20 distant.........

weird,

what are you reading now? or are you sleeping   hugs 2

I just finished Archangel's Heart by Nalini Singh. It's very good! And I've started Curse on the Land by Faith Hunter. It's a spinoff series from Jane Yellowrock.

I want to buy a new  printer on black friday, thinking that's when they will be the cheapest.
spent hours researching printers, even used consumer reports,
and several other websites chose the same printer as the best,

HOWEVER, when i went on to amazon the reviews were exactly 50/50
50 said it was the absolute best and 50 said it was a lemon
that it doesn't get the 1200 copies per cartridge only 300, that it paper jams ALOT,

YOU usually expect there are people who will say negative things about a product,
but the fact that every other person got a lemon, makes me definitely consider not getting this printer,

No, I'm not! Last time I shopped on Black Friday I caught an upper respiratory viral infection. I was out of work for a week and had a cough that wouldn't go away for a month!
I hope you find your perfect printer!

8 hours of research still no clue on a printer........... phone girl

oh well...............

my nieces wanted shop/chief/ i forget what it's called,

but we bought one in walmart $20, I swear the 8$ barbie doll was worth more then the plastic pieces
of whatever was in that box,

if they were my kids, it would be HELL NO.........

the other one wants monster dolls, which is a tad slightly better than whatever that junk was with the shop people.

bought my brother a game well sorta, put my first choice back because the box was opened,

AND I'M AN IDIOT that did not pay attention to what box she choose 2nd, and came home with the wrong game............. tap foot

do you remember the barbie camper, airplane and tower? now at least those plastics were worth a couple of bucks

oh well, so what useless plastics are you buying this year for the grand kid?

any dora? or monsters in your future?

I already bought Sammy's present - Calico Critters Ballet Theatre. Over priced like everything else. Sammy has a wish list for Target and ToysRUs! She gets way too many presents from aunts, uncles, great aunts, and grandparents!
My m-i-l had it easier with my kids, usually gave them Barbies which they were thrilled with!

I hardly ever go to Jones Beach anymore. I do love Virginia Beach! I was there 3 yrs ago with DD, then we went to the NC outerbanks. We saw a show at VB that was similar to Cirque du Soleil.

The cats are good........

Mailing out christmas cards on wed,

I always put "letters" in my cards, you got an "abridged" letter,
well because you don't really want to know or care about the "details"
most of which I probably posted on lusty and you know about,

We should try and meet next year, either maybe for lunch at applebees or friendlys,

or if your looking for a vaca we would meet over at colonial williams burg maybe get freaky, (allison) to meet us or something,

I'll have to talk to her, she lives over the bridge................

I bought the STUPIDEST thing, for my husband for christmas,
I should have purchased a coat or something, but NO, i bought a t-shirt
I don't know where my brains were when i purchased it,
but it arrived today, and they were pretty much out the door on this one.

it's an "heated" t-shirt, looks like a hunk of junk................ bag boy

A heated t-shirt! Well, that's different! Can you return it? My hubby likes lined flannel shirts. This year we're not exchanging presents because he usually gets me gift cards and losing lottery tickets and I don't know what to get him, he keeps saying he doesn't need anything.

I hope your kids buy you something?

if not I'll send you something, so you will be surprised! and nothing in return is expected,

this would just be my way of saying thanks for listening to me and sticking it out with me on this little forum of mine........................

Kristina, of course the kids are giving me gifts! I had to write a list of what I wanted! I don't mind not exchanging with hubby. My brother in-law and his wife don't either. You don't have to send me anything, I enjoy coming to your forum!
I hope your luncheon went well! Did you wear the mink coat?

Never actually thought about wearing the coat,

completely forgot about it.

was so worried about the out fit,

lord, I BUY 90 % of my gifts and make the husband wrap them,

and maybe he buys 10% of the gifts "sorta" surprises,

it's one of the reasons why i like giving so much, it's so much fun,

i enjoy it because I KNOW what my gifts are and there are no surprises...........

At times I've told hubs what I want or I bought it and wrapped it with a tag saying it's from him, but I do like a surprise once in a while!
Kristina, thank you! I received your Christmas card yesterday but the mail was put aside and I didn't open it until now! Your card is very informative, I didn't know you wrote so many books! FYI, my card will be nothing like yours - I try to write as little as possible!

I enjoy watching my husband and my brother open their gifts.

Because I can surprise the life out of them and it's so much fun,

Because I bought most of mine own, they are not so much a surprise, so it's not so much fun,

My husband finds it hard to shop for me, because i don't wear perfume, jewelry,

and i'd much rather have a book, and because with coupons, (sometimes i give them to him), and online, i can get the books much cheaper,

I always worry this time of year, I have bought my husband a couple of really cool gifts, he's going to be so excited, one is a t-shirt from one of his favorite tv shows,

and i always worry that something will happen and he won't be alive at christmas to see it.

but he just had a heart check up so all is ok,

with all the deaths this year especially my best friends brother at 46, i know it's stupid and all

but sometimes, you never know................

I bought my husband a refurbished chrome notebook, his first attempt at a computer

actually got it for $100, a 250 machine, they took stuff off because it was a refurbished item,
then they took more money off because there was no paper work with it and the big item, WAS the fact that the special plug, cord was missing, and since said cord goes for $80 and i was going to have to find one, as they had none in the store,

tada........................ $100............. man this thing has 4 apps period, LOL

google chrome, and you tube, a camera go figure, and the start up link,

one of the attractions to the notebook instead of a tablet was that this can stand up by itself,
and he has nerve issues and can't hold anything for a period of time,

going to the spine dr. in jan, fingers crossed they can fix this

I'm sorry to hear your hubby has nerve damage! I hope the doc can do something for him! Could it be carpal tunnel?
I love my chromebook and I'm sure he will enjoy his present! My hubby went to computer kindergarten given at the library a few yrs ago but he's just not into computers and still has me look things up on the internet.

http://www.spine-health.com/video/cervical-radiculopathy-interactive-video#

charlie's in the 8th spot.

they thought at first it was cubical tunnel which is like carpal but it's not.

i always thought it was the neck again

he has a plate in his neck it looks like a comb (backwards C), you know those black small combs that men used to use? with only 4 teeth or 4 screws going into his neck,

so he can't look up, or down, and has a little side to side,

my husband would NEVER go to computer kindergarten.................

he just has no interest, but now that  he's got his own, he's going to watch TV.

on youtube and his other favorite shows.........................LOL
