B&N said it would send you an email about how to read the book! I had to join Nook friends in order to lend you the book. Under apps, click Nook Friends, then follow the directions. You'll need my email debrac54@yahoo.com. Once I figured it out, it wasn't hard.

So can you read the book on your computer Nook?
My office visit went well! Saw two friends and made a lunch date from this coming Friday, just don't know which restaurant - Umberto's, Green Cactus, or Janie's - all in the same area around Cherrywood Shopping center on Wantagh Ave.
Good idea to get married on hubby's birthday! My hubby's birthday is Tuesday! We were over DDs celebrating his birthday. She took down the brick wall next to the fireplace and put new flooring in the livingroom, kitchen and hall. Looks nice!
Btw, my son-in-law said Home Depot is moving into the old Kmart property! Seems their East Meadow store lease is up so they're moving to Levittown. I know when Kmart left, Home Depot tried to move in then but the Levittown homeowners wouldn't allow them! So what's different now? Maybe because it has been standing empty ( except for Office Max which closed up).

and very worried about matthew,

can't imagine a  levittown home without the fireplace,

did you pick out the paint colors for your house yet?

we  have got to decide on a rug for the master bedroom, only rug in the house that has NEVER been replaced,
it's just about "dust" now,

DD didn't remove the fireplace, tho she is thinking about it because she wants to have an kitchen island there instead. They just took down the attached brick wall, which was like a divider between the kitchen and livingroom.
I have the cans of paint samples, just haven't tested them on the walls yet. I got what I originally wanted - a creamy vanilla and a light toast color. I was going to put the toast on the livingroom walls but DD thinks it would be better to use the cream there so I'll test both colors in both areas.
I thought Cali was improving! Her eye and ear were better! And her thyroid was normal!

turns out her eye and ear ARE NOT getting better,  tap foot

as I PREVIOUSLY THOUGHT

she has her head turned at an angle like she is having trouble seeings

and she rocks and and forth slightly

and she's walking not like it hurts or anything but like she's unsure of where the floor is,

does that make sense?

matthew hair fire seems is head straight for us,

i think north/south carolina is going to get HIT directly,

hopefully fingers crossed it will weaken when it, it's hits land

i am thinking of buying one of those blow up rafts, to paddle around the neighbor hood,

thinking if i do buy a raft, I WON'T get to use it, see reverse physcology, or something like that?

I hope Cali sees the vet before Matthew hits! Maybe buying a raft is a good idea, you could use it to get around if it floods again!

Kristina, don't blame yourself! You knew Cali needed surgery, saved up for it, you hoped you didn't wait too long, no one knew there was a tumor. It's fate or just plain bad luck. Just love and spoil Cali for as long as you can. hugs 2  Perhaps Sinatra is acting up because he senses something wrong with his mom.

the guilt is eating me,
Is it fair to keep her alive if she is in pain?
Unknown to me, according to the vet, she's been in pain for years...... with the teeth and all
now it's just her head that hurts?

and I am wondering how she can sleep when she can't close her eye? the tumor is pushing it out
and she can't close her eye lid,
but the eye does roll back a tad when she sleeps, and we make it dark, so i'm wondering how much "actual" sleep she's getting,

and she's eating, and we are giving her pussy cat ensure, and she's using the box,
although the out put was less, and has caused concern, but then, i'm pretty sure she didn't eat all that much, still having mouth issues, and she's still eating on one side, experimenting with eating on the other,
her equalibrim is gone, except on a hard surface, then she sits straight, but on a soft surface she rocks back and forth,

thanks,

hope your house gets painted,

I'm driving myself and my husband crazy with

is she in pain? does she know she's dying? by keeping her alive, am i doing it for me?
and is she suffering because of it?

and now barbie, is not eating........... crap, off to the vet tomorrow,

Now we know barbie has a serious heart condition, she's 9 years old,

and she's had some health issues in the past but she's been very vocal, and would always TELL
me,

this past couple of days, nothing, no eating, no drinking, and very very quiet,

Would Cali let you know if she was in pain? I know she lets you know when she's not happy! As to Barbie, could she be reacting to Cali's illness? It's good that you have an appt with the vet. I hope he gives you a discount!

Walked out of the vet with a $900 bill, today,

after the "fun" news about barbie, NOT......... see lusty for details

I took sinatra as he has a runny nose, and got meds for him

and talked more to the vet about barbie deciding to schedule that 500 test
just to know that definite, info, that there is nothing we can do for her,

The vet was like, I could do all of this....................... and the answer or prognosis is still going to be terminal,

thanks,

we talked and talked and talked and then i thought and thought all night, no sleep

and just the amount of money we have spent

but to spend another 500 just to confirm she's dying,

............. so we decided not to do the testing,

THE GUILT................. the if................. is driving me crazy,

but everyone says we made the right decision, and now it's just making the HARD decision.
i have gotten barbie to eat 2x, baby food turkey in turkey gravy

cali is going through 10 jars of chicken in chicken gravy (gerber)
i'm telling you at 1.00 a jar its adding up,
but we have experimented with so many liquid cat foods, this gerber seems to be the best,
as it's the most "solid" thing she can eat,

it's so sad and funny at the same time, cause cali can't see out of the one eye,
when she looks up from eating, she's got a line of baby food from her mouth to nose to eye to ear,
and it's a little painful when we clean her because of the tumor, but other wise she "seems" to be doing ok,

I'm grasping at straws with both cats, looking for "any" sign, of improvement,

The livingroom and hall are almost done, still needs to do the trim. Hubby is painting by himself so it's taking longer. He's too busy to paint this weekend(ha!) so he'll start up again Monday. When I lived with my family, my father and brother did the painting, I wasn't allowed. When we married hubby said he liked to paint so I said it's all yours!
