Kristina, can you change the setting on the printer to black and white? Maybe you can by pass the ink problem.
I don't know what to say about Sinatra except that you shouldn't put food down for him if he's finishing everyone else's!
As to Anita, thanks for that spoiler about Nathaniel's hair! I'm so tired of LKH describing his hair and eyes. I truly believe she doesn't put a lot of effort into writing her stories anymore, they're all physical descriptions and talk, not much action except for sex. You seem to be enjoying Crimson so I hope I will too!

I WOULD LOVE.......... the books to go back to the way they were,

to me nic, cerulean, and incubus were the best,

because they had crime solving with dolph, and zerbrowski and had anita's core group

now there are too many people involved and yes i like the personal stuff, but geez
400 pages of personal and a little over 300 give or take with sorta police work?

I will always buy her books, and I will always re-read, but idk

kim harrison has completely LOST me with her new series, operator? i am so confused here.

currently enjoying angels , jr ward's new bourbon book,

AND i don't know about you but i am SOOOOOOOOO over this election

did you see the cover of the daily news? it needs to be a landslide, or he will never accept it.
a man who hasn't paid taxes in 20 years
a bigot, racist, doesn't like handicapped, etc etc etc should not be president,

attic stairs being installed tomorrow YIPEE!!!!!!! I CAN start using my attic as storage space,
it runs the length of the entire house,

Wow! You haven't had an attic for storage!  swoon I don't have much storage space and use my attic for the overflow!
I started Crimson and it was like putting on my favorite slippers! I wish she'd go back to writing the way she used to.
I'm not into Harrison's new series either! I did start Ward's 1st Bourbon book but I found it confusing and stopped reading. Angels? I didn't get that impression.

Ward explains the angel title to the bourbon book at the beginning, but i don't remember right now,
just finished reading cb's note and am depressed as i know  barbie is soon to follow.

angel

also um i um bought a few frivolous items according to my husband, HEY it was LESS than 100, so that's good right? I'm spending way too much on cat repair due to love,
and i know i know i need to get glasses, just haven't had the time,

so guess what i bought........................BOOKCASES......................................4 of them,
i need larger bookcases for my 2300 books,,,,,,,,,,,,,, taped

I have donated over 300 this year to the library,

and i still have no room..............mad hatters village - Page 12 Buried10

Heehee, when I found LKH and other paranormal authors, I donated most of my home library of romance to the library. Now I donate books I know I won't reread to the VietNam vets. But my bookcase is packed so I do try to borrow from the library or buy ebooks!
I'll give Ward's 1st Bourbon story another try.
It's natural to be depressed about Barbie.  hugs 2

Well, the roof is repaired,
ceiling fan in bedroom is installed (WE HAVE LIGHT!!!)
It broke about 15 years ago and we bought the ceiling fan/light in 2012 via contents of box says it's a 2012 item,

and book cases are installed, I had 5 small ones 3 shelf across and thought i could put 5 shelf across, only 4 will fit, seems the 5 shelves are 1 1/2 inch wider, so only 4 although I have skinny 3 shelf that i really hate, cause the shelves didn't match up with the other 3 shelves and it just awkward going abc across when the shelves didn't match up,

so we are getting rid of 2 2 shelf bookcases, and replacing them with the 3 shelves, that the 5 shelves replaced,
and I am getting rid of a few more books, that i know i won't read,

and I have a few projects this week to keep my mind (b.s.) off my  cats,

seems a few of my books have sold and i need to replenish the supply
I am editing one of my earlier books ........... just spacing and a new index
and i have to put back 500 books .................................

in an effort to get more space, it did not work, I mixed my romance and paranormals together,

now i'm going to UN MIX THEM.

we now have 28 book cases in my small town house

**** barbie is walking around meow, that sounds like ow ow ow ow or ouch, ( i can't find the correct spelling)

to the vet tomorrow........................

VET won't refill barbies meds without seeing her first.............A.H.

i said we were thinking of doing it tomorrow but then you were all booked up
and the last time i saw dr. partlow she was "hesitant" because barbie was still alert, etc etc
so i just wanted some pain meds to make her comfortable

but that was BEFORE the ultra sound, now they are singing a different tune A.H.....................

they understand she's not eating and she's lost a lot of weight etc.

ass holes,

should have done this two weeks ago, poor cat's been suffering, unnecessarily,

how was your lunch? any halloween plans?

Lunch was good! We talked so much that we didn't leave until 4:15! The staff was waiting for us to leave! But there was talk of doing this once a month so I'll see what happens.
I have no plans for Halloween. Last year we went over Sammy's other grandmother's house for a combination Halloween/birthday party. This year, she told DD that she just wanted to have a Halloween party for Sammy and her cousins, which I took to mean we weren't invited over. DD said that she'd have us over her house for cake and presents but she hasn't said when yet!
I'm surprised that your vet won't give you pain pills for Barbie! That's inhumane! With my Roxy, my vet continued to give her an antibiotic and some other med for pain until the end, to keep her comfortable.

thanks, deb

interesting in laws............. and it's a shame the kids don't stand up for you.........just saying

i'm glad i only see my in laws once a year,

"the other" daughter in law, is seen as "DUMB" and she can't cook,

BUT she has done the one thing i can't, give them grandchildren,

so that puts them a little higher above us,

so anyway

glad you had a really good lunch,

hope you have a good time at the party?

going trick or treating on monday?

va has laws, trick and treating is only done from "dusk" til 8pm
and i believe you must be under 11,

and most of the trick or treating is done in malls, they did some at town center yesterday,

when i was younger in levittown, one of the first trick or treats there was this elderly couple probably in their 70's or 80's they would pop popcorn, fresh and we'd eat it while we were walking the neighborhood,

I think it was one or two years, as they died soon after that,

sometimes i miss KNOWING and TALKING to my neighbors.....................

I know my daughter favors her in-laws, but I don't want to create tension between us. I had a similar problem with my Mom and my in-laws. I spent most of my married life trying to be fair to both! Every holiday I had both my Mom and brother plus the in-laws over. My m-i-l favored us because we had kids, her other son didn't want any, but it wasn't like she helped us out with money or anything like that.
I think our trick or treaters are done for the night! I remember walking all over the neighborhood getting candy until it started to get dark and I knew I had to be home for dinner. Good times! Kids nowadays don't have that freedom, most have their parents walking with them. My hubby took our girls out while I stayed home and handed out candy. I can't imagine going to the mall trick or treating!

Well,

it's tempting not to go into a rant, about the fact that my husband was so anxious to get away from my mother. (we lived with her after marriage) that we are stuck in this awful T.H. when she died two years later and we could be mortgage free in her house, .................etc etc etc

on the other side of the coin..... We live 400 miles away from the in laws that don't like me,
and they are in the late 80's ................

we shall soon be alone, wish we'd have been able to have kids, another long story..............

so we have cats......................

one of the reasons i signed up for that christmas card list on the other site,
depressing each year the cards get less and less as people/relatives die off.

sorry didn't mean to be so depressing..............

never did have that chocolate,............bummer

You didn't want to move out of NY? I would have loved to move, we were looking into Virginia or North Carolina. But when my m-i-l died in 2005, hubby said we were too old to move! Huh! I told him maybe he's too old but I wasn't! I think he doesn't want to leave his parents cemetery plot because he knows his brother never visits and hubby goes on birthdays and holidays to clean it up. They're buried at St Charles Cemetery in Farmingdale. Plus he's in a rut and doesn't want to change.
I didn't sign up for the card exchange, didn't do it on Hunter's Haven either. Yeah, I don't send out or receive as many Christmas cards as I used to.
Go have some chocolate! I always makes me feel good.

Oh, since you grew up in Levittown and your stepfather lived there, I just assumed your mother had also! No sense moving back here, there's no good paying jobs! I always laugh when they say on tv that soo many new jobs were filled this month because those jobs are usually part-time and low paying.
Yes, I've been saying the same thing about LI, that they can't leave anything alone, they have to build on it! ~they paved paradise and put up a parking lot~ the singer Melanie had it so right!
I think the election has gotten to me, I'm kinda depressed, just want to get it over with.

I moved with mom to virginia in 91.
and made my husband who lived around the block from me in levittown move here to va to marry.

yes this election is depressing,

one will make history as the first women, first first lady to be pres and a first pres to be first husband?

and the other will get us killed, he may be good for jobs,

but i can just see him insulting a foreign minister or pres or whatever and we end up at war

and if he doesn't loose with a significant margin he's not going to accept it either......

the headache......... hey, speaking of which,

they want to legalize marijauna in virginia.......... go figure

annoyed with the husband today,

see lusty for the details,

all i heard was "i" this and I that,

well I NEED to be there for my friend, if the worst happens,

and i probably need to go alone,

well at least the voting is done.

now to exercise so i can fit into my old fancy clothes from when i worked at jcp in Roosevelt field,

we found a box of "my too good to throw away clothes that i will never fit in again" clothes in the attic,

and there are a couple of items that have "hope" but the rest of those JUNIOR and misses 8 & 10 clothes will probably have to be sacrificed,

and donated ..................

This is so f------ hard,

Barbie had some stuff, and we are keeping her huge stuffed doll that she slept with that my husband gave me when we got married.

but cali, OMG, we have tons of medicines and medical food and her cages, and her litter boxes,
and her special combs, small scratching post,

damn, washing some of her blankets and throwing some out as they are just beyond salvage,

this so damn hard,

she took up SO MUCH of my life, especially with all her medical needs,

damn,
